Real pioneers in Squash in France, INTEC Squash developed as soon as the appearance of the first courts a series of new techniques in Europe: since 1979 these courts arestill in use in one of the most dynamic clubs as well on the sportingl and commercial level: Rouen Squash has indeed more than 35.000 players per year on 7 courts, that is to say 8 players everyhour!
Each of the 7 courts is in fact the prototype of a new process tested by INTEC Squash
.

The experimentation of the techniques suggested, the experience gained in the completion of more than 35O courts in France an abroad, up to the perfect knowledge of the exploitation of the equipment make INTEC Squash, not only one serious supplier but also a highly qualified partner:

- In the phase of the preparatory project for the study of the complex, the number and the location of the courts

- In the choice of the building systems, coordination, the dates, and the reservations

- In the follow-up of the execution in relation to the project superintendent

and, in close cooperation with the future user, during the development of the project until the opening day, for the profit survey, the financial arrangements and the estimated operating statement.

Thus, from innovations in achievements, in the most varied sites of reception, such as camp-sites or  private or public sportclubs, company-unions or  hotel complexes, mountain or sea resorts, in France or abroad, INTEC Squash has acquired an outstandind experience and an exceptional reliability .

The control of  INTEC Squashcourts by the  n°1French company in building- insurance  has awarded them a sufficient level of quality to clear them without reserve to give them a decennial guarantee on the installation and all the components.

GLASS BACKWALLS  INTEC Squash

The translucid backwallst INTEC Squash are made from  tempered glass panels 12 mm thick of the Securit type, presenting white lines anti reflectionlines serigraphies in the lower part; these volumes of glass are assembled with metal anodic aluminium parts insulated from the  glass with Teflon joint; fixings are ensured by stainless screws and bolts in the thickness of the glass inside the court and coming out outside; in the same way the lock with latch on one side and  child-safety-handle  outside; the central door stands on aon a brass rotating part and a threshold bar ensuring a greater longevity thus, whereas a hinge connects it to the upper part of the wall without any extra weight for the side volume.

INTEC Squash presents the broadest choice in the market for the equipment of the back walls.
Thus theready made solutions  suggested are as follows :

*  CHAMPIONSHIP WALL (R):  see photo  below: entirely glazed, this wall is  the most usually installed, the prettiest and also  the most economic one: consisting of 2 great volumes rigidified by two stiffeners, with 1 central door, and, on both sides, 2 large glass stiffeners. Protruding outside the court, the width of the stiffeners in the corridor 30 cm.

INTEC Squash replaces also any elements broken of any other glasswall brand name, doors and volumes. In the same way we do renovation  and setting in conformity of glazed walls to the standards, in particular for the replacement of plastic wall by a glazed wall  as above.

FLOATING FLOOR INTEC Squash

The floor of a squashcourt  must be flexible, non-skid and of a pale colour. This is why wood is the material generally proposed, a white and hard wood.
Unfortunately it is an expensive material.
It is also a material sensible to dampness.
The player is also sensitive   the consecutive shock- waves to the violent impact of the foot on the ground must be without harmful consequences for the sportsman.

* blade studded on tie bar
* tie bar fixed on sole
* sole stuck on concrete

Also the floor of a court of squash must be treated as the most delicate one among the sport floorss.
INTEC Squash thus chose the most constraining options.
For that, nothing less than one tie bar every 25 cm is set in order to ensure the robustness of the lot

(whereas the standard requires only 35 cm).
The parquet-wood-panels are laid in the English traditional way; each tie bar is assembled in the workshop with a strip footing with closed cells, both time suple and anti-humidity, able to absorb the shock waves of the most violent impacts without secondary vibration: thus 264 meters linear of absorbing material ensures acoustic comfort but also protection against the tendinitises and fatigue, in the same way the protection of the whole floor underneath against moisture by capillarity; 15 years of experimence in this single type of assembly make it possible to affirm that floating floor INTEC Squash is the best sporting ground existing until today..

The visible face can be built up by different wood varieties: the necessary facing must be hard and white: INTEC Squash recommends  beech as the hardest  and clearest  wood, ina  pasted way to ensure a perfect insensitivity tofloor dampness and for the best /ratio price/ quality; massive plate of wear 8mm and total thickness to stud 22mm.

In massive or pasted version, beech 1st choice thickness 23mm, or realized with other in the same way machined gasolines (GRAY French CEDRE OR ROSE, BILINGA of African origin, or EUCALYPTUS of origin the EEC) parquet floors INTEC Squash enjoys the same guarantee and same serious while respecting the international standards of Squash, but especially the more constraining standards as regards sporting grounds.

The completion is ensured with a fine sandpapering,  the only real and durable non-skid treatment; For the players, the grip is real and perfectly safe. The parquet floor thus built is then in conformity with the recommendations of associations of players; obviously to Squash standards too.

On request, the new surface, or in restoration old surface after sandpapering, will be able to receive the application of a "sealer" a non-skid varnish of surface in one layer, ensuring at a relatively modest cost the access without disorder to the shoes with  black or hard soles of the jogging type (advised for the municipal courts or club without filtering of the players at the reception).

These supports can then durably receive the application of thegame lines  (cf accessories Rιsiligne (r) of INTEC) with a 2 years'garantee. No adhesive tape!

LINES OF game RESILIGNE(r)

The process suggested belongs to a "traditional" mode of realization. It is the cheapest process; it offers the best qualities for the game, as well as the best guarantees.

And this in opposition to the method of construction "prefabricated" which calls upon a shaping  of panels in the workshop, a transport and an implementation on the premises which requires if not a support built at least a frame of reception; the unit is always more expensive, because everywhere in the world it is the masonry which is the cheapest, the 10 years guarantee offered with the traditional method is often shorter with the panel system, the compactness of the walls required by the game of squash is obviously weaker in a prefabricated construction than in a concrete made wall, the comfort in the game  in all cases always lesser...

INTEC Squash presents nevertheless two prefabricated systems recommended if the weight or the speed of execution is required. Cf self standing court or vertical playing surfaces in panels.
(description, commercial references and estimate on request).

COATING INTEC Squash: It is a modern technique made up of resins in aqueous phase; the multi-layer complex reinforced with glass fibres in the heavy layers, is a pure synthetic emulsion. With the differences of the coatings cement, there is no risk of cracking up; moreover the completed complex is washable: it thus keeps its whiteness with time, therefore all its playing quality.
It can also be tinted with the desired color but the standard in squash and the advise of the club owner go in the same direction: it  seems best to make it in the clearest possible color.

ACCESSORIES of SHORT INTEC Squash

Vertical surfaces of game are coated in white to the lines of game: on each side wall as maybe on the backwall if it is not glazed; on the sound plate to the upper line of game. On the ground, the floating floor is also equipped with lines of game.

The accessories with the equipment of the court are thus:
- lines of game RESILIGNE (r) and plates sound INTEC Squash

LINES OF GAME RESILIGNE (r) Of INTEC Squash

They are in-laid on site with resin  for the vertical coating, painted on the floor .
This choice is the one of longevity  in relation with a reasonable cost: this compromise is gaining with the exploitation compared to the lines of game for the walls made with wooden or plastic profiles, expensive and completely useless, with the adhesive tape for the ground, unpleasant to the eye as soon as sthey come off, and requiring to be redone very often.

SOUND PLATES INTEC Squash.

Meant to announce any faulty ball, sound plates INTEC Squash resound at the slightest touch: they are hung on the pediment with above the parquet floor.
Their profile makes it possible to hold the line of red game in the upper part .A  woodencleat comes to block them against the pediment; anti- deformation material makes it possible  for the plates to resist to the kicking of the players.

Three plates by court are necessary; each one of them is independent and can be used as an advert-billboard with the agreement  of the club.
Finally the metal of the plates is tstainless; beige painting is applied in a fine layer twith a spray , then heated in an oven so as not to peel off.

ESTIMATE OF CONSTRUCTION

The construction of a court includes the carcass work heavy castings, i.e.  reception facilities, the installation of the courts as, behind, parts of the club, corridors, steps, cloakrooms etc... This estimate is made by a quantity surveyor quantity surveyor starting from the plans of  anarchitect. It is for this reason approximate and with all the reserves of use; here  are nevertheless some figures coming from former works:

Required surfaces by activities:

that is to say an ideal total for a viable structure in many large French cities of approximately 2.000 m2 on the ground and 2.700 m2 useful and an approximate total investment of 1.500 K€.

The installation of a court of Squash includes lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning or  heating, the carcass work heavy castings specific to the 3 or 4 walls and the possible roof, the special coating squash of vertical surfaces of game, the floating floor and the possible glazed back wall.

1. The masonry 3 or 4 walls bricked up to the lines of game (breeze blocks and surfacing ) and on the ground a possible cover, represents an average budget of 4.600 € /court for 3 adjacent courts.

2. Specific installation "squash" coats parquet floor, wall glazed and accessories of court, is worth approximately 15.000 € H.T at the average price of the market. (NB: a single court in assembly in period charged will be much more expensive):

3. Lighting for a court costs on average  1.500 € all subjections  included.

4. The heating ventilation or air-conditioning can be dealt with from 1.500 € to 3.000 € /court.

In short, the construction of a COURT of squash represents an average budget of 23.000 € HT the glazed court heated ventilated lit, for a total realization of 3 courts 29.000 € HT for an insulated court and a service including the best options 15.000 € HT the court ,4 full walls, lit, ventilated ans masonry included . ( average Prices of the market met to confirm according to the final description, building of reception in addition.)

The installation of a court of badminton represents the following approximate costs:

To Which must be added the cost of a cement layer on the ground on the ground,  lighting according to the number of courts and the building  itself for approximately 600€  HT /m2.
